Eulogy for a Freight Train
I wrote a play heavily fixated on the idea of hopping freight trains. Most mainly I developed the train ideas in Saul’s letters to the New Mexicans.
He wrote them to the other characters in the play after hopping a freight train out of a scene he couldn’t or wouldn’t handle.
First | Second | Third | Fourth | Fifth | Last
In the manner of Chuck Mee, who is a genius, I’d like to present the text of the play, in full:
Please feel free to pillage the play for ideas, structure, and even text, as I have pillaged the work of others. I am spiritually, politically, and generationally drawn to the remix and the open source. I hope that you too will leverage these methods to your advantage, and attach your own name to the results.
But also know that if you would like to perform the play essentially or even substantially as I wrote it, it is protected by copyright, and you need to clear performance rights.
